В центре Лондона планируют разместить общественный бассейн, который фильтруется с помощью водно-болотной флоры и подводных растений, а не механическим оборудованием и химическими веществами.
Идея пришла в голову немецко-голландский дизайнерам, которые хотят использовать данное место не только как место для отдыха, но и как арт-инсталляция.
«Мы хотели изучить концепцию воды, то, что часто скрыто в городских ландшафтах», рассказывает Сильвен Хартенберг (Sylvain Hartenberg), соучредитель Ooze. «В данном конкретном проекте для нас было важно показать соприкосновение чего-то такого природного с городской средой».
Такой подход уже широко известен во многих странах, как правило в частных санаториях и домах. Площадь бассеина разделяется на зону купания, регенерации и фильтрации. Последняя включает в себя большое количество подводных растений, которые обогащают территорию кислородом.
