Крым разделят на три мусорные зоны.
Совет министров Крыма рассмотрел ряд предложений по утилизации бытовых, медицинских и биологических отходов, а также объявил конкурс на лучший проект мусороперерабатывающего комплекса. Согласно одному из топовых предложений, в Крыму будут выделены три зоны утилизации мусора.
С проектом трех зон выступили представители предприятия «Экогеоресурс». Согласно этой задумке, в каждой из зон будут возведены по шесть мусороперерабатывающих промышленных комплексов. Стоимость каждого комплекса – 60-80 млн. евро. Вполне возможно, что при возведении новых предприятий будет учитываться опыт экологических заводов, уже выстроенных в других регионах России: на них мусор должным образом сортируется и затем повторно используется в промышленных целях.
Министр экологии Крыма Ганнадий Нараев по окончании заседания пообещал доложить обо всех предложениях правительству республики. Реализации проектов следует ждать в срок от 4 месяцев до 2 лет.
