В Нидерландах изобрели машину для домашней переработки пластика.
«Хочешь видеть мусор грамотно утилизованным? Начни с себя», – полагает уроженец Нидерландов Дэйв Хаккенс. Выпуск Академии дизайна в Эйндховене изобрел портативный механизм для переработки пластиковых отходов в домашних условиях.
Машина Хаккенса носит название Precious Plastic. После переработки отходов она позволяет (также в домашних условиях) использовать полученную пластиковую массу повторно: делать из него мебель, посуду и любые другие предметы, вплоть до декоративных безделушек. Своим изобретением Хаккенс надеется не просто позабавить будущих пользователей, но, буквально, «вдохновить» их на сбор и утилизацию пластика.
Precious Plastic состоит из нескольких нехитрых составляющих: шредера, который перемалывает пластик в стружку, и экструдера, который размягчает массу до состояния «теста». Далее пластик поступает в станок, где и превращается в новое изделие. Знаменательная деталь: станок изобретатель изготовил из деталей, собранных на ближайшей свалке.
